調查顯示 Tesla 為全美 2020 年妥善率最低新車 平均每輛新車擁有 2.5 個問題。 據美國分析公司 J.D. Power 調查顯示，在汽車行業的 2020 年初的品質報告中，Tesla 被評為全美最不可靠的新車，此研究紀錄了新車購買 90 天內所碰到的問題數量，而 Tesla 在每 100 輛新車樣本中的問題擁有的高達 250 個，儘管此數據並非官方認證，因為 Tesla 並不允許調查團隊使用需要 OEM 許可的 15 個州內新車數據，J.D. Power 僅能採用其餘 35 個州的新車作樣本，但仍能看出其妥善率有待加強。而最為可靠的車商則為 Dodge 與 Kia 並列第一，Chevrolet 及 Ram 則並列第二，南韓車廠 Genesis 亦居於第三位置。 整體調查中，每輛新車所擁有的問題為 1.66 個，J.D.
