1965 Ferrari 500 Superfast 'Speziale'. This time not at the Louwman Museum, but at the Autorai carshow at Amsterdam many years ago. This Ferrari was owned by HRH Prince Bernard of the Netherlands. The Prince was a loyal customer and was a good friend of Enzo Ferrari. Prins Bernard had some particular wishes for his 500. Only 37 of the 500 Superfast were build and this one (chassis no 6267 SF) was fitted with a 4.0 litre V12 instead of the 5.0 litre V12. Enough power for the Prince. This 500 also has different beige leather seats, rearlight units and the frames of the side windows were unique. Not to mention the colour green 'Verde Pinto' as green was the favourite colour of the Prince. #1965 #FERRARI #carporn
