而Mateusz Kolek的 “The things I have seen but Didn’t have a smartphone” (我沒有手機時看過的東西)一系列的插畫,紀錄了他在香港四個月的一些所見所聞。 Oftentimes, tourists’ sights could provide a different perspective to a place, and discover unexpected charms of a city. Mateusz Kolek once spent 4 months in Hong Kong, and explored the city without the aid of internet nor camera. A series of illustrations “The things I have seen but Didn’t have a smartphone” by Mateusz Kolek, recorded his experience in Hong Kong. Bold lines and colours, surrealistically, but accurately depicted the environment and the mood. The bold black lines create a dramatic situation. The nature of drawing gives Mateusz flexibility in composition, perspective, and storytelling. - Perhaps, returning to the ordinary, is the only way to experience the true meaning of travelling.
