下午1時許，葵涌荔景紀律部隊宿舍一名男子，被妻子發現昏迷廁所內，連忙報警。救護員到場後隨即將他送到瑪嘉烈醫院搶救，惟最後不治。目前男死者身份和昏迷原因未明，曾任警察公共關係科總警司、現為葵青警區指揮官的謝振中到瑪嘉烈醫院了解。 //洗唔洗食咁多呀 好心就適可宜止啦

葵青區同新界其他區唔同，唔係新界理民府分區走出來。1985年之前，葵涌同青衣都係歸荃灣區，之不過因為荃灣新市鎮發展，遠超一區之力，就響1985年4月1號將葵涌同青衣拆出來，另立葵涌及青衣區，同時亦選出相應嘅區議會。到咗1988年，就簡短啲，改叫葵青區。而立法會選舉係新界西！
