⚠重要⚠請廣傳 【闢謠-警隊加薪與財政預算案無關】 有很多市民在閱讀了財政預算案之後，再自行搜尋了財委會的議程後，赫然發現公務員加薪（包括警隊加薪）放在了財委會議程的首位。此舉令很多網民均十分氣憤，表示不滿政府將「回水一萬」捆綁到警隊擴軍以及警隊加薪的議程上。然而，財委會的運作方式並非如此。 公務員加薪是一個財務建議項目，這種審議是由財務委員會的例會審核。 而財政預算案，即按照公共財政條例提出的撥款條例草案，程序與上述的公務員加薪的草案截然不同。 財委會將會在4月安排數天的會期召開「財務委員會審核2020-2021財政年度開支預算的特別會議」，會議只會審議財政預算案。 簡而言之，「公務員加薪」和「財政預算案」的審議雖然都是財委會審議，但實際上是平行操作，兩者互不相干。 Source: 城大編委 #財政預算案 #POPO
