Senior Manager/Manager, Product Solution Engineering
Job Duties:
· Participate in the system level definition and support for new product launches, in the field of Electronic products.
· Contribute to new product design and development by capturing market needs and trends into product specification or system definition.
· Provide support to the software or firmware development and hardware/software co-verification.
· Support circuit and PCB design, prototype unit development and evaluation for Power Electronics Circuit, especially for USB charging.
· Characterize and measure project deliverables and perform competitive analysis.
· Interface with development team, manufacturing team and market needs, to ensure the on-time launch of new products while meeting the performance and quality target.
· Support of Production testing plan development, and communications.
Requirements:
· Degree or above in either computer science or engineering or STEM or similar disciplines. Master degree on top of the STEM discipline would be an advantage.
· Strong interest in Power Electronics, power converters, and strong fundamentals in electronic circuits.
· Ability to effectively communicate technical details and precise technical requirements, procedures, and results in written and oral formats.
· 10 years or more experience in technical applications or marketing with extensive knowledge of USB chargers, LED lighting products, or power related products.
· Knowledge of the semiconductor industry, especially in AC/DC or DCDC power management, would be highly preferred.
· Experience in R&D, understand the process of new product development and introduction.
· Experience in technical marketing research, and project developments.
· Competent presentation and negotiation skills. Strong proficiency in English and fluency in Cantonese/Mandarin is a plus.
· A good team player and sound communication skills.
