Power 調查顯示，在汽車行業的 2020 年初的品質報告中，Tesla 被評為全美最不可靠的新車，此研究紀錄了新車購買 90 天內所碰到的問題數量，而 Tesla 在每 100 輛新車樣本中的問題擁有的高達 250 個，儘管此數據並非官方認證，因為 Tesla 並不允許調查團隊使用需要 OEM 許可的 15 個州內新車數據，J.D. Power 僅能採用其餘 35 個州的新車作樣本，但仍能看出其妥善率有待加強。而最為可靠的車商則為 Dodge 與 Kia 並列第一，Chevrolet 及 Ram 則並列第二，南韓車廠 Genesis 亦居於第三位置。 整體調查中，每輛新車所擁有的問題為 1.66 個，J.D.
